Bungee Fitness - A new craze sweeping the fitness industry and we are bringing it to you in a brand-new studio for the first time in Cyprus. For men and women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Bungee Fitness is an amazing full-body, high intensity, resistance workout that optimizes every muscle group to the max without the risk of high impact on your joints! Defy gravity, take flight and experience a workout that's so much fun, it doesn't seem like exercise! Yet, reap all the benefits of a cardio workout while strengthening and toning your whole body.

This low impact motion-based training, is a revolutionary concept that is safe and a fun alternative to everyday training. You are suspended from a harness with feet still able to touch the ground.

What is Bungee Fitness?

A Bungee Fitness workout is a high intensity workout program that raises your metabolism to start burning fat immediately without putting stress on your joints.

Bungee Fitness is also low impact, motion based, resistance training program that allows the user the needed buoyancy to perform exercises they might not be able to perform without assistance – no pain on joints! With the added benefit of increased blood and lymphatic flow – the key to overall health and healing!

What to wear?

The harness is padded for comfort, but after an hour of activity you will be feeling pressure/pinching where the harness touches your body since your body weight is being pushed and pulled against the harness.

We highly recommend wearing two layers of shorts or leggings until you get used to it. Some clients wear padded bike shorts for extra comfort!

We suggest a fitted top since you will be upside down& moving a lot.

Bring a water bottle and be prepared to get sweaty, so bring a gym towel too!   

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes. Our bungee equipment can only support a person that is a maximum of 100kgs (225lbs). For your safety and to get the most out of the experience students will be asked to check their weight and to inform their instructor before the start of the class. This is required so you can be attached to the correct number of bungees cords. If you weigh more than 100kgs you will not be permitted to take the class.

 

Who shouldn't do bungee?

We do NOT recommend Bungee Fitness if you have had surgery of any kind in the past six months or have chronic pain or a medical condition involving the shoulders, wrists, hands or low back. Wrist guards are welcomed and awesome if needing to use. If you have any of these conditions please consult with a physician before attempting Bungee.   

Possible contraindications include:

  • Pregnancy

  • Glaucoma

  • Recent Surgery

  • Heart Disease

  • Very High or Very Low Blood Pressure

  • Easy Onset Vertigo

  • Osteoporosis or Bone Weakness

  • Recent Concussion or Head Injury

  • Head Cold, Flu, or Sinusitis

  • Hiatal Hernia or Disc Herniation

  • Recent Stroke

  • Artificial or Re-Surfaced Hips

  • Botox (within 24 hours of class)

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes! Your waiver will be part of your registration process. However, if you are under 18 years old one of your parents will be required to sign the waiver on your behalf.   

 

How do I reserve a place in a class?

Bookings for your classes need to be made preferably in advance and secured by payment.

We do not save spaces in classes without payment or accept walk-ins.

Cost for Bungee classes

  - 4 classes a month €45

  - 8 classes a month €80

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We have an 8-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel late for any reason you will lose that class. This is a FIRM policy; no waivers or exceptions will be granted.

We balance this policy by offering you the ability to sign up for any class up until half an hour before class starts. If you have a frequently changing schedule we recommend waiting to sign up until you are certain you can attend.

Be aware if you wait until last minute to sign up your class may get cancelled for low enrollment so it is wise to sign up as soon as you are absolutely positive you can attend, ideally 2 hours or more before class so your class doesn't get cancelled.

Why did my class get cancelled?

We reserve the right to cancel any class if less than 4 people are signed up. If we are cancelling, we will notify you by text at least 2 hours before the classes that is scheduled. We do this because our format is group fitness which by definition requires a group, we have set the minimum group size to 4. members.
